There is no age requirement for wearing pantyliners or tampons. The only requirement for wearing a pantyliner is that of course you have some sort of discharge that you want the pantyliner to absorb. And the requirement for wearing a tampon would be that you would need to be on your period. Some girls start their period at age 11 or even younger.

If they want to wear a tampon at age 11 when they start their period, that’s totally fine. If they want to wait until they are a little older that is fine too. Some girls don’t start their period until age 16 and they can of course wear a tampon then or whenever they feel ready to. Tampons are made to help you on your period and there is no age restriction on them. If you have you period, then feel free to use tampons. If you have some sort of vaginal discharge once again, feel free to use panty liners. Maybe some girls are embarrassed to ask their moms for tampons since they think they are too young and maybe they think that only teenagers and women wear tampons. But the truth is that once you have your period you are ready for tampons, since they are made for periods.

If you are very young and you have you period and you are embarrassed about this, don’t be. Getting your period in an early age is totally fine and just means that your body is developing into a woman’s body faster than other girls. If you are very young and you get your period do make sure that you eat healthy and drink lots of water, since your body is going through changes and needs plenty of nutrients.

You might wonder where shall I buy my used tampon, pad or pantyliner? Well the answer is, you should wrap either one of the three in toilet paper and then throw it in the trashcan. Filled pads and tampons can start to smell very fast, so you should make sure that you throw out your used tampons or pads in the trash right after you are done with them.

Do not flush a pad, pantyliner or tampon down the toilet. You might think that that is the cleanest and fastest way to get rid of them, but the truth is that flushing them down the toilet will actually cause more trouble in the end, since they will clog the toilet. Do not flush your used pads, tampons or pantyliners down the toilet in public places such as, school, work, malls, parks or any other place like that. You might think that since it isn’t your home that it doesn’t make a difference, but the truth is that it really does make a difference. Have you ever seen a totally clogged toilet in a public place that completely disgusted you? Well chances are that the reason it is clogged is due to someone flushing down a pad, tampon or pantyliner. Just keep in mind that you are not the only person that will use that toilet on that day and that there are other people out there. Picture this scenario, you have been having a terrible day and you need to go to the bathroom sooooo badly. The only available stall in the bathroom is the completely clogged stall. Now that would totally ruin your day even more, since you now have to go find a new bathroom. Just remember to be considerate of others and think what would I like others to do for me. You will feel a lot better about yourself and your actions if you keep others in mind.

So lets start off with this scenario, you are invited to a pool party but today also happens to be the day you started your period. Ohhhhh no! Is what you think when you get out of bed. This is supposed to be the best pool party of the summer and my period just totally ruined everything! Well guess what? You’re in luck! Because you can go swimming if you wear a tampon.

If you want to go swimming you have to wear a tampon and not just a pad or a pantyliner. The reason why you have to wear a tampon is because a tampon is made to absorb the blood before it leaves your body. On the other hand, a pad or pantyliner is made to absorb the blood once it’s already left your vagina. Now when you are in the pool, a tampon does not move around and it still keeps absorbing the blood. A pad or panty liner is made to stick to your underwear or bathing suit, but when you go into water the sticky material that is made to stick onto your underwear and keep the pad or pantyliner in place, becomes unsticky due to the contact with water. Hence what happens is if you go swimming and are wearing a pad or pantyliner, the pad or pantiliner gets unsticky and will fall off your bathing suit and will float in the pool. Now that would be totally embarrassing right? So even if you are scared to use a tampon or you have never used one before, it is the only way you can go swimming at this totally awesome pool party. And don’t be scared to use a tampon.

It is actually very easy to insert a tampon and you will find that tampons are a lot more comfortable than pads. Happy pool parties!

Having your period or having vaginal discharge is nothing to be ashamed of. So you shouldn’t be scared or embarrassed to ask your mom to buy you panty liners. Because the truth is, she uses them too! She knows exactly what you are going through when you are on your period or when you have discharge. Also just imagine what could be worse than having to ask your mom to get you pantyliners? Asking your dad would be way more embarrassing..right? So just don’t worry about asking your mom to get you pantyiliners. She would probably be way happier if you asked her than if you just snuck them into the house or if you asked your friends for them instead. So next time you need panty liners, go ahead and ask your mom. Moms are the people that will help you out with that sort of thing.
Maybe sometimes you feel like your mom wouldn’t understand why you would need pantyliners since she never talked to you about panty liners. But guess what? You could teach your mom something by telling her why you would like to use panty liners. You could explain to her that it is very uncomfortable for you to have vaginal discharge in your underwear all day. Or you could explain to her that sometimes your tampons leak a little bit on to your underwear and you would like to keep your underwear clean and unstained. If she still after all those talks thinks that you don’t need pantyiliners tell her that even if she thinks you don’t need them, you would like to have them and you would feel way comfortabler. Just really talk to your mom and get her to see that you would really like to have panty liners.

This is a good question. A pantiliner is a very thin sanitary pad that you stick to your panties. It is used to prevent discharge from staining your panties or pants. You can wear it while using a tampon as a precaution. Or you can wear it when you don not have your period to soak up any possible discharge.

A pad is an absorbent pad worn externally by a girl or woman to soak up blood and other menstrual discharge. They are worn only for the duration of your period.

A tampon is plug of absorbent material such as cotton that is inserted into the vagina during you period. It absorbs the blood from menstruation.

You should replace all of the above at least once daily. Depending on how much you discharge per day you should change them every few hours.

You can buy all of these at any drug store, supermarket or other stores like those.

What you wear depends totally on what you feel comfortable wearing, and what is necessary to stay clean.

If you are going to go swimming in a place that has NO sharks whatsoever, then yes. Otherwise NO.

Many people think that the Gulf of Mexico doesn’t have sharks. This is not the case. The Gulf of Mexico has many different species of sharks, including: the Tiger Shark, the Blacktip Shark, the Lemon Shark. So even if you just came to Florida for spring break and you get your period. I would STRONGLY recommend you stay out of the ocean.

Most of the sharks around Florida and Mexico like to hang around in the shallow water near shore, NOT in the deep water, that you would assume they like.

Rumor has it that as long as you are wearing a tampon, sharks cannot smell the blood. This is not true. Sharks can smell blood from almost a mile away. It does not really matter how little or how much there is of it. Sharks have exceedingly sharp senses. It is not a coincidence that they are know as one of the world’s most dangerous animal.

It is very dangerous to go swimming in the ocean when you are bleeding. No matter what your friends are telling you. This is a risk that you should not take.

The answer to this would be no. To use a panty liner you take it, pull off the plastic covering and stick it to your panties soft side up. Then you pull up your panties. Pantyliners are made for external use only.

Because a pantiliner is made to stick to your panties, not to you, it shouldn’t get stuck inside of you. A pantyliner would not get inside of you without you feeling it anyway. If you see that your pantiliner is gone it probably just fell off your panties.

If you notice that your panty liner falls out very often. You should consider getting a different brand. That has a better glue on it.

If you see that your panty liner is often crunched together, you should probably get a size that fits better and does not do that. There are a few different sizes of pantiliners that you can buy: long ones, short ones, wide ones, thin ones and a few more. This way you will be a lot more comfortable.

Can I Wear a Panty Liner With a Thong?

The answer is yes you can wear a panty liner with a thong. There are panty liners especially made to be only worn with a thong. When at the store just make sure to look for the box of panty liners that says “thong” on it. You might ask yourself why should I wear a panty liner with a thong? Well lets say you are on your period and you are going out with your friends and you would like to wear an outfit that requires the need of a thong. Well if you had thong panty liners you would be all covered and would have no need to worry. If you didn’t have thong panty liners you might have to wear an outfit that you would not feel so great about wearing.

You can use a panty liner for one day. Unless your panty liner is filled with blood from your period. If that is the case you should change your panty liner once it is filled with blood. Do not leave a panty liner on for more than a day. If you do it starts to not stick to your underwear and it will definitely annoy you not to mention bacteria will collect on it if left on for more than a day.

If you do sports while wearing a pantiliner you will probably want to change it after you are done with your sport for the day. The reason why would want to change it is that it can become sweaty and that will become uncomfortable also bacteria can collect on your pantyliner after your sweat collects on it and that will cause it to smell bad. If you don’t do sports during the day and you are just at school, home or work you can wear a pantyliner for a full day. Also you can wear a panty liner over night. Just make sure that when you wake up you change it and throw away the used one.

YES! One should most definitely use a panty liner while using a tampon. The reason being that yes the tampon does soak up the blood, but if the tampon is not 100% correctly inserted, a little bit of blood does leak out. And who wants to ruin a pair of underwear each time they are wearing a tampon?

No one likes to have blood stained underwear or worse blood stained jeans. A panty liners protects against stains on your underwear or jeans. Also if you happen to leave your tampon in just a little bit too long a panty liner is there to catch the leaks. A panty liner could be considered just that extra bit of protection. And another scenerio you should keep in mind is sometimes the flow of blood differs from day to day.

If you are not anywhere near a bathroom, a panty liner will give you an extra bit of protection. Of course you would want to find a bathroom quickly since a panty liner isn’t able to do the same about of work as a tampon. But as stated a panty liners does give you extra protection while wearing a tampon.
